Our practice is conveniently located across and down the street from Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital and just next door to Encompass Healthcare Rehabilitation Hospital.
IRPC has served the patients of Indian River County since 1998. This is a modern practice that runs in a paperless environment. We utilize electronic medical records, e-prescribing, and a moderately complex laboratory. We provide laboratory services in electrocardiography, pulmonary function testing, 24-hour holter monitoring, and infusion therapy. We maintain privileges and care for patients daily at both Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital and Encompass Healthcare Rehabilitation Hospital. We also follow our patients at various skilled nursing facilities nearby.
Indian River Primary Care is connected through TEFCA (Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement), a nationwide framework that enables participating healthcare organizations to securely exchange electronic health information.
For your treatment, this connection helps our care team access available prior medical records in a digital format, such as visit summaries, medication lists, and test results. Having this information supports better coordination and a more complete picture of your medical history.
Record availability varies. TEFCA does not guarantee access to every past medical record. Records must be available electronically through a participating organization and shared in accordance with applicable privacy requirements. Some records may still need to be requested separately.
